Silk + Sonder is a monthly guided journaling and personal growth system designed to help you build a life you feel more connected to.

It combines a physical journal, a digital app, and a supportive community to give you structure for reflection, planning, and habit-building.

Each month focuses on a specific theme (like Awareness, Flow, or Focus) and provides tools to help you reset, gain clarity, and take intentional action in your daily life.

The name Silk + Sonder reflects the balance between strength and softness, structure and self-discovery.

“Sonder” means the realization that every person is living a life as full and complex as your own. It’s a reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re feeling or navigating.

Together, Silk + Sonder represents a space where you can slow down, reflect, and design a life that feels aligned and meaningful to you.

At Silk + Sonder, we carefully plan and produce our journals and products in advance to ensure every member receives their items on time each month. As a small, woman-owned business, we create inventory in limited batches based on expected demand. Because of this, all Silk + Sonder products are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.

At Silk + Sonder, we understand that everyone has different needs and preferences. We offer different options including 12-Month, 3-Month, and 1-Month subscriptions. Journal subscriptions are available in both digital and physical options. We also recommend joining our Newsletter, where we’ll share information about any new offerings!

Silk + Sonder is your monthly reset. Each month, you’ll get a fresh, new themed guided journal delivered straight to your doorstep to help you get organized for the month ahead. Inside, you’ll find therapist-approved prompts, habit and mood trackers, and easy-to-use planning pages to help bring clarity to your days. You’ll also have full access to the Silk + Sonder app and members-only community, where you can explore guided meditations, affirmations, and live journaling and planning events with members like you. Everything in your membership creates a streamlined system that helps you feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more connected to the life you’re building.

Silk + Sonder memberships auto renew based on the cadence of purchase.

Monthly subscriptions renew on the 10th of each month, and prepaid shipments process on the 10th of each month.

You can review your active subscriptions and upcoming charge date anytime in your account settings.

You can update your shipping address in the ‘next order’ section of your account. We recommend updating your address before the 9th of the month to ensure your upcoming order is sent to the updated address.

Interested in upgrading to an annual journal membership? You can upgrade your Silk + Sonder subscription anytime through the ‘subscriptions’ section of your account.

You can cancel your Silk + Sonder membership at any time from the ‘subscriptions’ section of your account settings.

If your plans change, you’ll also have the option to pause your subscription before canceling.

You can view your order history, upcoming charges, and payment method anytime in your account settings. To update your billing information: 

1. Log in and select "Address and Payment details"

2. Under the "Manage Payment Methods", click 'edit'

3. Add the new billing information here.

4. Back on the 'Manage Payment Method' screen, click 'use for all orders' on the updated card.

At Silk + Sonder, we aim to ship orders quickly so you have your tools for reflection and planning when you need them.

Physical products (journals, planners, and other items):

Orders typically ship within 1 business day after processing.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your delivery.

Digital memberships:

If you purchase a digital membership or product, you’ll receive immediate access to the digital download via email as soon as you enroll.

At this time, the Silk and Sonder analog print journal membership is only available within the United States.

However, our digital journals are available globally. These include the same monthly themes, guided prompts, and personal growth content as our physical journal, plus access to the Silk + Sonder app and digital tools so you can journal with us from anywhere in the world.

Sonder Socials are live, expert-led members-only events curated just for the Sonder Fam.

These sessions help you:

• Reflect on your goals

• Plan your week or month

• Stay consistent with your journaling practice

They’re designed to provide structure, accountability, and connection with other members. You can view and sign up for upcoming socials here.

Exclusive events are paid, members-only, online events designed to support your personal growth journey beyond the journal.

These include things like special workshops, guest expert talks, and seasonal events. You can view and sign up for upcoming exclusive events here.

You can view and purchase tickets for all upcoming events on our Eventbrite page. Zoom information will be sent via email to registrants before the event.

Not able to make an event? No worries, you can cancel your registration by:

1. Log in to your Eventbrite account. Then go to "Tickets" and click on your order.

2. Choose "Cancel Order".

• On desktop — Select 'Cancel Order" (next to your order details). Then choose “Yes, cancel this order".
• On the Eventbrite app — Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and tap “Cancel order”.

3. Check for an email confirmation from Eventbrite.

Sonder Club is Silk + Sonder’s private, members-only, in-app community where you can connect with other members of the Sonder Fam.

Inside Sonder Club, you can:

• Share reflections and wins

• Get inspired by other members

• Stay accountable to your goals

Sonder Blush is SIlk + Sonder’s app-only subscription. Sonder Blush provides access to the full app, including daily affirmations, personalized journaling prompts, guided meditations, and more.
